Realisation

Someone once told me that I was poor-

But I just called him an idiot and send him away

Because I thought wealth meant money and nothing else..

With the years flying by leaving behind fewer familiar faces,

I realize that that someone was correct…

I was ignorant about the fact that character and relationships are more precious

compared to money which is nothing but paper!

You are remembered by the deeds you do and the lives you touch,

Not by the bundles of money which could easily be lost in a flame…

Friendships u make and how you carry on with it,how you face difficulties,

all these and much more make up the real you..

Even the most minute help would be enough

To change someone’s life if given at the right time.

Now that I have chanced upon this knowledge,

I realse how wrong I was and how hard I need to work to prove him wrong……
